As the Resume Writer you will join Pursuits and Proposals Team supporting our Government Public Sector (GPS) business at a national level. You are responsible for supporting the candidates identified to match, profile and write requirements for GPS accounts. You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality written resumes, end-to-end profiling and writing processes to support the Consulting GPS accounts. You will be responsible for the matching the candidate skillsets against RFP requirements for the engagements by collaborating with Consulting team.
Your key responsibilities
Prepare high quality, resumes, or summaries of the qualifications of a candidate and
corporate credentials that are being proposed by matching the skills and experience of a
against the issued mandatory and rated requirements matrices and grids
Make sure that resumes and credentials emphasizes the applicant's qualifications, skills,
education, job history, and experience in a clear and readable format
Review and understand the issued mandatory and rated requirements matrices and grids
Liaise with the proposal team to get clarification on the profiling request as well as employees and consultants to prepare corporate credentials, resumes and evaluation criteria grids for Government of Canada proposals
Gather all required security information, educational documents and other materials for
Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, QA team review and approval
Act as liaison with consultants and clients to enter, monitor and track Statement of Work (SOW) details required to meet bid requirements
Maintain quality results by using templates, following profiling and proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone;

Strong time and project management skills, the ability to establish priorities, set and manage schedules, and coordinate multiple projects at one time

Highly developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and cloud-based technology
To qualify for the role, you must have
Undergraduate degree required (major in Language, Communications, Marketing or Business)
1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
Strong researching, writing, and editing skills in English
Eligible to meet Federal Government Security Clearance
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience working in a recruitment environment
Knowledge and understanding of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) including TBIPS, TSPS,
SBIPS, THS, ProServices, etc.
