Finance and Treasury Board is seeking to create a list of qualified candidates that are skilled, agile, outcomes-focused, highly-motivated, and positive-thinking to fill the positions of Process Improvement Facilitators within the Corporate Services Division.

Reporting to the Director of Policy, and Performance Excellence, the Process Improvement Facilitator is responsible for identifying, enhancing and sustaining improved business processes, organizational performance and services. They will help drive a culture of continuous improvement through leading and facilitating process improvement initiatives using the Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) methodology. The successful candidate will guide and support process owners and executive champions through prioritized projects that may include corporate GNB, cross departmental and large department projects.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training and certification will be provided to the successful candidate, where necessary.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: A university degree and a minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible work experience. Ability to use office technology, software and application, presentation and group facilitation skills are required.

Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate the following asset qualifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies, problem solving and change management
  • Quality/process improvement experience

Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one, or a combination, of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.

Salary: $65,650- $87,360 annually
